KFC Japan × Umamusume: SSR Support Cards, Carrot-Colored Dip, and Gold Ship Dressed as Colonel Sanders

KFC Japan and Umamusume: Pretty Derby are teaming up for the "Umamusume no Umauma! Kentucky!" campaign, running August 12 through September 30, 2026.

The key visual alone is worth the price of admission: eight horse girls in full KFC uniforms. And this time the food itself was developed around the series — a first for KFC's content collabs. One important catch: the collab sets are exclusive to KFC's online Net Order system, so you cannot just walk in and order one at the counter.

Round 1: A Carrot-Colored Kelp-Mayo Dip Set

Umauma! Kobu-Mayo Dip Set

Round 1 (August 12–25) is the "Umauma! Kobu-Mayo Dip Set" (1,500 yen): two pieces of Original Chicken, small fries and a Colonel's Crispy strip, plus the collab-exclusive "Umauma Kobu-Mayo Dip Sauce".

The sauce is orange, inspired by the carrots the Umamusume love — a kelp-and-mayo umami dip that works on both the chicken and the fries.

Original-art trading cards

Each set also comes with one random original-art trading card. There are 18 designs, and 9 of them are rare cards with printed voice-actor signatures. They know exactly what they are doing.

Round 2: Shake-It-Yourself Carrot Spice

Umauma! Carrot Otchahoi Set

Round 2 (September 9–30) is the "Umauma! Carrot Otchahoi Set" (1,500 yen) — same chicken lineup, but with a garlic-and-black-pepper "Carrot Otchahoi Shake-Shake Spice" you shake over the fries in the bag.

This round's bonus: original-art can badges, 8 designs, random.

In-Game Goodies: An SSR Card and Colonel Gold Ship

SSR Support Card

Every set includes a serial code for the game: the SSR support card "Biting Into a Smile — Red Desire" plus recovery items. Clear the in-game missions and you also unlock Gold Ship's "KFC Goodwill Ambassador" outfit — yes, that is Gold Ship in the Colonel's white suit. It fits her far too well.

A Collab Song and a Fully Wrapped Store

Collab song "Gabutto!"

The eight key-visual Umamusume also sing an original collab song, "Gabutto!" (Bite Big!). You can preview it on KFC Japan's official channel:

And one store — KFC Sagamihara-Onodai in Kanagawa — gets a full Umamusume makeover for the entire campaign, complete with a stamp-collecting lottery for straps, diorama acrylic stands and cast-signed visual boards.

Umamusume and KFC were always going to get along — both cultures are built around biting into things with enthusiasm. Trainers get an SSR, collectors get signed cards, and everyone else gets Colonel Gold Ship. Just remember: Net Order only, or the horse girls will outrun you to it.
