A special collaboration between the smash-hit anime JUJUTSU KAISEN and KATE is here. This time, the theme centers around Season 2’s Hidden Inventory / Premature Death arc. About the Series
JUJUTSU KAISEN is a smash-hit manga by Gege Akutami that follows the battle between sorcerers and curses born from human negativity. Serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump since March 2018, the story wrapped up in September 2024 after a six-and-a-half-year run. The manga has sold over 100 million copies, including digital.
Season 1 aired from October 2020 to March 2021, and the prequel film JUJUTSU KAISEN 0 grossed an astonishing 26.5 billion yen worldwide.
Season 2 (Hidden Inventory / Premature Death and Shibuya Incident) aired from July to December 2023 and made waves globally. Now, the 5-episode Hidden Inventory / Premature Death arc returns to theaters as a compilation movie. The soundtrack has been remixed for full 5.1ch surround, with select tracks rearranged exclusively for the theatrical release. The film’s theme is a reimagined version of the TV opening, “Ao no Sumika (Acoustic ver.)” by Tatsuya Kitani.
