This film reimagines the emotional youth of Gojo Satoru and Geto Suguru, retelling the original five-episode arc in a condensed cinematic experience.
The acoustic version of the theme deepens the emotional pull of the story, while 5.1ch surround sound in theaters enhances the immersive experience—like being enveloped in the sound itself.

Who is Tatsuya Kitani?

Around 2014, he began uploading his own music online, and around the same time, he also launched his career as a songwriter, providing music to other artists.

In 2023, he released the opening theme "Ao no Sumika" for the anime JUJUTSU KAISEN: Hidden Inventory / Premature Death, and performed at the 74th Kōhaku Uta Gassen. He has written songs for many artists, including WEST., Suisei Hoshimachi, SUPER EIGHT, and LiSA. In April 2024, he began hosting All Night Nippon X on Nippon Broadcasting, and is also active as part of the unit “GEMN” with Kento Nakajima, expanding his reach across genres.

RAW JAPAN Takeaway

The acoustic rebirth of "Ao no Sumika" adds a new layer of tenderness and melancholy to the heavy atmosphere of JUJUTSU KAISEN’s world.
The combination of a successful TV theme and a reimagined version for the compilation film feels like a heartfelt gift to fans.
With Kitani’s nationwide tour also announced, it’s clear his music is reaching new audiences—both anime fans and beyond.

As for me… my external HDD just broke, so I won’t be able to record the CDTV broadcast. Which means… I absolutely cannot miss it live.
